Autism Family Cares believes that going into the community and spending time with other families that care for children on the autism spectrum is very important to quality of life. That is why we host events for families effected by autism. All the events are held in Lake County, IL and are planned with care to accommodate most needs. Join us on December 7th at 10 am for our annual holiday movie. This year we are showing Elf! Pick up your complimentary popcorn and drink, mix up a hot cocoa and settle in to your theater seat (or not!) to watch this classic with our other families. Movie starts at 10:15. Sign up will be limited to 100 people to keep this movie sensory friendly. If you sign up and later find that you cannot make it, please email AutismFamilyCares@gmail.com so we can open the spot up to other families!
