Autism Awareness Project

Autism Family Cares believes that education about Autism should begin at a young age to normalize the condition, as well as foster understanding for classmates who may have autism. We have developed these lesson plans and offer them free of cost to any school or group that wishes to use them. They have been targeted to grades 1-5 (age 6 to 10) and each grade consists of five 10 minute lessons plans. This program scaffolds and provides different lessons to each age group. There are also picture books in each grade’s lesson.

Autism Family Cares will provide access to all paper materials on our shared drive free of cost. The picture books mentioned in each lesson plan may also be available upon request. Please contact us at AutismFamilyCares@gmail.com to inquire about availability.
