Autism Family Cares hosts events such as family picnics and holiday parties for children on the autism spectrum and their families in Lake County, IL
Elementary Awareness Project
Autism Family Cares developed lesson plans for elementary school age children grades 1-5 to teach students about autism.
These plans are free and available for use in any classroom.
Community Education
Autism Family Cares believes that educating the community about autism will promote acceptance, understanding and inclusion. This will lead to an improvement in the quality of life for people with autism and their families.
